STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Grace Carroll
President
Hi everyone! My name is Grace Carroll and I am a sophomore here at CNU! I am from Leesburg, VA and I am thrilled to be serving at President this year! Our ministry here is so special to me. I love the CCM because it provides a place for students to be strengthened in their faith through the sacraments and friendship found in the ministry, to then share the love of Christ to our campus and communities! I am so excited to serve as President to simply guide the ministry to do God’s will. I am excited and hopeful to grow the ministry of Catholic Captains and to grow in friendship and faith with each other!
Rebecca D'Souza
Faith Formation Co-Chair
Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca D’Souza, I am a junior double majoring in Management & Marketing and minoring in Philosophy and Religious Studies. I am from Springfield, VA and am a parishioner at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Annandale, VA. I am so excited to serve as the co-chair for Faith Formation at CCM! I also enjoy going on adventures and hanging out with friends. My favorite CCM event is Sunday Supper because it is a wonderful way to be with the community, eat good food, and start the week on a great note with great people. The motto I live by, which is also my favorite Bible quote, is 1 Corinthians 15:31, “Every day I face death; I swear it by the pride in you [brothers] that I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Gianna Webb
Communication
Hey everyone! My name is Gianna Webb and I am a freshman here at CNU, coming from Haymarket VA, as a parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. CCM has been such a welcoming and supportive community for me in my first semester here, and I could not be more excited to be the CCM’s new Communications chair! When I’m not in class or at the CCM house, chances are I’m on an adventure with my friends, at a Campus Activities Board event, or at Running or CrossFit Club. My favorite part about the CCM is the beautiful, faith-based connections I’ve made, and I can’t wait to facilitate more as a part of team.

Service & Justice
The thing I love most about CCM is the support and love we all have for each other! I've already formed deep relationships with others in the community and have received incredible support, whether it is my friends in the CCM being happy for me when I accomplish something, or being there for me when I'm struggling. I'm excited to be in my position because it gives me both the opportunity to learn how to serve the CCM community in a way I never have before, and to work with all the other fantastic members of our team.
Chris Lubinski
Vice President
CCM provides an excellent way for young Catholics going through college continue to practice and grow in the faith. I love how our community helps achieve this goal through prayer and helping others learn more about the faith and will continue to promote such wonderful values.
Anthony DeTrane
Faith Formation Co-Chair
There is much to love about the CCM—daily opportunities for communal prayer, small groups, the availability of the Sacraments with the Parish, Mass on campus, random activities and events at the house, the house’s Eucharistic chapel, the people, the community. All these have been such blessings. I don’t know what I love most, though I do know CCM has become home. I’m very excited to be returning as the co-chair for Faith Formation! Christ wants to grow our hearts and embrace us into eternity. Prayer is the language by which we come to know and listen to Him. And the role of the Faith Formation chairs is to help teach and facilitate that prayer through retreats, regular events, and daily life!
Will Plaut
Fellowship
Hello, my name is Will Plaut, 2023 chair of Fellowship. Our community is so incredibly special! Fellowship is a monumental piece of the Catholic faith. It is essential that we maintain a strong sense of community. I am electrified that the Lord has given me the opportunity to serve the ministry. I want to provide new events and opportunities for our ministry to come together as a community, while continuing to maintain and support the events that we all know and love!

Evangelization
I am so thankful for the CCM community! I love the vibrant people and delicious food that I have found in the CCM and it is an honor to serve as the Evangelization chair this year! As a small group leader, I have found it to be one of my favorite parts of the week where we can all relax, reset for the week, and learn more about each other and Christ. I am so excited the Lord has placed me here to support that mission on a larger scale. I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone better and to show our campus the love and joy of Jesus Christ.
